Job Description
A Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, LLC, is responsible for working on diverse land development, renewable energy, and construction projects by utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce drawings, analyze survey data, and support project workflows within a flexible and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to produce project drawings.
- Review survey data to analyze existing site conditions and legal documents.
- Generate survey and construction-related drawings such as ALTA NSPS Surveys, land divisions, and staking layouts.
- Edit and modify plans based on revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients.
- Support design staff by guiding drafting practices and procedures.
- Coordinate workflow and communicate with project managers and team leaders to meet project goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of previous AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required
- Experience with boundary resolution and title review required
- Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) preferred
- High School Diploma required
- Associated Degree preferred
