Job Description
A Survey Office Technician at Atwell, LLC, is responsible for supporting land development, renewable energy, and construction projects by producing and reviewing survey drawings, analyzing survey data, and coordinating workflows using CAD software, while collaborating with project teams to ensure project standards and revisions are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Support design staff by guiding drafting practices and procedures
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to complete project assignments
- Generate project-specific drawings such as surveys, land divisions, and construction layouts
- Review survey data to analyze existing site conditions and relevant documents
- Edit and modify plans based on revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients
- Maintain communication with Project Managers and Team Leaders regarding workflow status
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of previous AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required.
- Experience with ALTA surveys, plot plans, as-builts, and boundary surveys preferred.
- Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) preferred.
- High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.
