Job Description
A Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, LLC, is responsible for producing survey-related drawings, analyzing survey data, and supporting land development, renewable energy, and construction projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D, while collaborating with project teams in a flexible and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to produce project drawings such as surveys, land divisions, and construction layouts
- Review and analyze survey data to assess existing site conditions and legal documents
- Edit and modify plans based on revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients
- Support design staff by guiding drafting practices and procedures
- Coordinate workflow and communicate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to ensure project progress and team chargeability
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of previous AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience
- High School Diploma is required
- Thorough understanding of ALTA NSPS Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Boundary Surveys, and Construction Staking
- Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) is preferred
