Job Description
A Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, LLC, is responsible for supporting land development, renewable energy, and construction projects by producing and reviewing survey drawings, analyzing survey data, and collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate and compliant deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to produce project drawings.
- Review survey data to analyze existing site conditions and legal documents.
- Generate survey-related drawings such as ALTA NSPS Surveys, land divisions, and construction layouts.
- Edit and modify plans based on revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients.
- Support design staff by guiding drafting practices and procedures.
- Coordinate workflow and communicate with project managers to meet project goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of previous AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required
- Experience with boundary resolution and title review required
- Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) preferred
- High School Diploma required, Associate Degree preferred
