Job Description
The Senior Proposal Marketing Associate at Atwell, LLC is responsible for leading the development and execution of proposals, supporting business development efforts, and collaborating with leadership to position the company competitively in the AEC industry. The role involves managing proposal strategies, creating high-quality content, and mentoring team members in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of proposals, SOQs, and presentations for strategic client pursuits
- Drive proposal capture planning, including research, positioning, value propositions, and pursuit schedules
- Facilitate go/no-go discussions, kick-off meetings, and proposal QA/QC reviews
- Advise leadership on pursuit strategy, messaging, and win themes
- Develop and edit high-impact proposal content, resumes, and project descriptions
- Ensure brand consistency, compliance, and quality across proposal and client-facing materials
- Mentor and support Proposal Marketing Associates on best practices and execution
- Oversee and maintain proposal content libraries, resumes, project data, and imagery
- Support business development teams with client interviews, presentations, and pursuit collateral
- Monitor industry, market, and client trends to inform proposal strategy
- Support conferences, sponsorships, award submissions, and related coordination
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Business, or related field
- 5 to 7 years of professional AEC marketing experience with a strong focus on proposals
- Proven experience leading Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) and complex Request for Proposal (RFP) responses
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud InDesign required
- Illustrator and Photoshop skills preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits
- Experience partnering with senior leadership and business development teams
- AEC industry experience is required
