Job Description

The Senior Project Manager at Atwell, LLC leads and manages land development projects, ensuring technical excellence, quality assurance, and compliance, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and review report writing, site plan design, drainage, grading, and due diligence site analysis reports.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to complete assignments efficiently while maintaining high standards.
  • Mentor and support junior staff with technical queries related to Land Development projects.
  • Oversee QA/QC processes to ensure project deliverables meet quality and engineering standards.
  • Review and seal project documents to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
  • Analyze survey data and site conditions, including legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, and easements.
  • Make necessary edits and modifications to plans based on agency, municipality, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to track workflow and meet project goals.
  • Support financial objectives and contribute to project success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • At least 5 years of experience in Residential and Commercial Land Development including design, project management, business development, and invoicing
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D to review and complete assignments efficiently, adhering to high standards
  • Ability to act as the go-to authority for report writing, site plan design, drainage, grading, and comprehensive due diligence site analysis reports
  • Experience in reviewing and sealing project documents to ensure full compliance with engineering standards
  • Ability to analyze project survey data and site conditions, including legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, and easement documents
  • Experience in making necessary edits and modifications to plans as required by agencies, municipalities, and clients
  • Ability to coordinate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to track workflow status and meet chargeability goals
  • Capability to support the team in achieving financial objectives and project success
