Job Description
A Project Surveyor at Atwell, LLC is responsible for leading and managing land development survey projects, including boundary, ALTA NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys, while collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate, high-quality deliverables and supporting professional growth in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Project Managers to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules for land development projects
- Lead and oversee boundary, ALTA NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys with accuracy and efficiency
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center to process data, create plats, exhibits, and maps
- Review and verify survey calculations and field data for precision and compliance
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure survey accuracy and project success
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Legal Descriptions, Easements, Title Review, and Real Estate Documents
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center, with the ability to process data, create detailed plats, exhibits, and maps, and ensure high-quality deliverables
- Experience with Trimble field equipment preferred
- Prior field crew experience is a plus
- LSIT or PLS certification desired
- Multi-state licensure is a plus
