Job Description
The Project Surveyor at Atwell, LLC is responsible for leading land development surveys, collaborating with project teams, and utilizing technical skills to produce accurate survey data and maps, supporting residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Project Managers to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules for land development projects.
- Lead and oversee boundary, ALTA NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys with accuracy and efficiency.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center to process data, create plats, exhibits, and maps, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Review and verify survey calculations and field data for precision and compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure survey accuracy and project success.
Requirements
- A deep understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Legal Descriptions, Easements, Title Review, and Real Estate Documents.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center, with the ability to turn data into accuracy and insight.
- Experience with Trimble field equipment preferred.
- Prior field crew experience is a plus, indicating an understanding of both office and field survey processes.
- LSIT or PLS certification desired, with multi-state licensure considered a plus.
- Ability to partner closely with Project Managers to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules for land development projects of all sizes.
- Ability to lead and oversee boundary, ALTA NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys with accuracy and efficiency.
- Capability to review and verify survey calculations and field data, ensuring precision and compliance with project standards.
- Willingness to collaborate daily with engineers, contractors, and clients, serving as the trusted survey voice on the team.
