Job Description
The Project Surveyor at Atwell is responsible for managing survey projects, utilizing engineering software and field equipment, and collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate survey data collection and project execution across various land development and energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage survey projects from start to finish, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with Project Managers during proposal and planning phases to establish project scope, budgets, staffing, and schedules.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to complete survey assignments accurately and efficiently.
- Review and adjust survey field calculations as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal staff, contractors, inspectors, and team leaders.
- Attend training, industry conferences, and networking events to develop skills and industry knowledge.
Requirements
- An advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collections, Legal Descriptions, Plan interpretations, along Real Estate Documents.
- Prior experience with Trimble equipment, and Trimble Business Center is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Prior experience working in the field on a survey crew is highly preferred.
- LSIT or PLS certification is desired.
