Job Description
The Survey Project Manager at Atwell, LLC oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of survey projects in the power and energy sectors, leading teams to deliver accurate site plans, construction documents, and survey data analysis while managing client relationships and ensuring project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate with a team to draft, review, and finalize site plans and construction documents.
- Review project survey data using industry software and technology.
- Analyze existing site conditions, legal descriptions, easements, and related documents for development considerations.
- Supervise survey crews, technicians, and office staff to ensure project completion.
- Oversee large-scale ALTA surveys related to solar or wind power projects.
- Provide construction-related services, including permit applications, quantity estimates, and transmittals.
- Organize and assemble site plans and construction documents.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to complete project assignments.
Requirements
- Professional Survey License PLS or PSM
- 8 or more years of survey industry related work experience
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop a growing team
- Prior experience working with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Construction Staking, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collections, Legal Descriptions, and Plan interpretations, along with Real Estate Documents
