Job Description
The Survey Project Manager at Atwell, LLC oversees survey projects, manages teams, reviews survey data, and ensures the successful execution of site plans and construction documents within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate with a team to draft, review, and finalize site plans and construction documents.
- Review project survey data using industry software and technology.
- Analyze existing site conditions, legal descriptions, easements, and related documents for development considerations.
- Supervise survey crews, technicians, and office staff to ensure project completion.
- Oversee large-scale ALTA surveys related to solar and wind energy projects.
- Provide construction-related services, including permit applications, quantity estimates, and transmittals.
- Organize and assemble site plans, construction plans, and related documents.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to complete assignments within standards and budgets.
- Mentor staff in training, career development, and professional growth.
- Assist with survey project management, including planning, execution, and quality control.
Requirements
- Professional Survey License PLS, PSM
- 8 plus years of survey industry related work experience
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop a growing team
- Prior experience working with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Construction Staking, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collections, Legal Descriptions, Plan interpretations, along with Real Estate Documents
