Job Description
The Civil Engineer Project Manager at Atwell, LLC will lead and manage project teams on land development projects, ensuring successful execution while maintaining strong client relationships and overseeing contract administration. The role requires technical expertise in engineering principles, particularly in water distribution systems and site grading, along with responsibilities in permitting and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project duration.
- Oversee contract procurement, administration, and project coordination.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Possess expertise in potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, site grading, and roadway design.
- Guide projects from entitlements through construction phases.
- Efficiently handle multiple permitting entitlements across various governmental agencies.
- Develop and execute complex permitting strategies to meet project schedules.
- Actively participate in company marketing efforts to enhance the company’s profile.
- Train, lead, and mentor team members to ensure their professional growth and project success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC ABET Accredited University
- PE Licensure Required
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of engineering principles and practices
- Possess expertise in potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, site grading, and roadway design
- Guide projects from entitlements through construction phases
- Efficiently handle multiple permitting entitlements across various governmental agencies, with a preference for local experience
- Develop and execute complex permitting strategies to meet project schedules for diverse projects, ranging from large-scale developments to compact commercial infills
- Train, lead, and mentor team members to ensure their professional growth and project success
- Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful project execution
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project duration
