Job Description
The Project Surveyor at Atwell, LLC is responsible for managing survey projects from start to finish, collaborating with project managers, and utilizing engineering software to ensure project scope and budgets are met. This role involves working on diverse projects in residential, commercial land development, and renewable energy, while also providing expertise in various surveying techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Project Managers on project scope, budgets, staffing, and schedules.
- Ensure project scope and budget are on track.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software for assignments.
- Review and adjust survey field calculations as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal staff, contractors, inspectors, and team leaders.
- Attend training, development events, industry conferences, and networking opportunities.
Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Surveyor.
- Advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collections, Legal Descriptions, Plan interpretations, and Real Estate Documents.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Prior experience working in the field on a survey crew.
