The Landscape Architect supports land development projects by contributing to design, grading, development, and technical production activities throughout all project phases, ensuring project goals are met in terms of design, schedule, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Support all phases of land development project design, grading, and technical production activities
Attend office staff and project scheduling meetings
Conduct project research and contribute to concept development
Prepare project correspondence, documentation, and presentation materials
Develop project documents that align with design, schedule, and budget requirements
Create project takeoffs and cost estimates
Draft project specifications
Manage digital project files
Report project progress to the Project Manager
Participate in marketing efforts and develop client and consultant relationships
Requirements
Landscape Architecture degree from an accredited BLA or MLA university program
Minimum of 3 years of professional design experience in private practice design or planning firm
Well-developed landscape design skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, and Microsoft Office software
Well-developed contract document layout, grading, and production knowledge
