Job Description
The Landscape Architect supports land development projects by contributing to design, grading, development, and technical documentation throughout all project phases, ensuring alignment with client needs and project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support commercial and residential land development projects through all design, grading, development, and technical production phases.
- Attend office staff meetings and project scheduling meetings.
- Prepare project research, concept development, and documentation.
- Develop project correspondence, presentation materials, and specifications.
- Create project documents that meet design, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Prepare project takeoffs, cost estimates, and specifications.
- Manage digital project files and report project progress to the Project Manager.
- Participate in marketing efforts and develop client and consultant relationships.
Requirements
- Landscape Architecture degree from an accredited BLA or MLA university program
- Minimum of 3 years of professional design experience in private practice design or planning firm
- Well-developed landscape design skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, and Microsoft Office software
- Well-developed contract document layout, grading, and production knowledge
