Job Description
The Land Solutions Financial Services Specialist at Atwell, LLC is responsible for supporting financial operations related to land acquisition, including trend analysis, payment calculations, and document management, while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze program trends and performance standards.
- Collect, review, and analyze production data for financial calculations.
- Accurately calculate monthly, quarterly, and annual payments.
- Forecast, calculate, and prepare funding requests.
- Develop and maintain program trackers for payment calculations.
- Oversee the quality and accuracy of key project documents.
- Manage land ownership research and database workflows.
- Serve as a liaison between Team Leaders, Project Managers, and clients.
- Collect, organize, and maintain project materials.
- Prepare monthly fee reports and ensure compliance with standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, printers, and file systems.
- Daily on-site presence required at the Southfield, MI office.
- Experience in financial operations related to land acquisition efforts.
- Ability to manage financial data efficiently and accurately.
- Experience in trend analysis, performance review, and quality control processes.
- Experience in data management, including collecting, reviewing, and analyzing production data.
- Experience in accurately calculating monthly, quarterly, and annual payments, including royalty, option, crop, and damage compensation.
- Experience in forecasting, calculating, and preparing funding requests.
- Experience in developing and maintaining program trackers for payment calculations.
- Experience in overseeing the quality and accuracy of key project documents, including deeds, titles, and appraisals.
- Experience in managing land ownership research and landowner communications.
- Experience in preparing monthly fee reports and monitoring project performance.
