Job Description
The role involves providing testing, inspection, certification, and commissioning services for high-voltage electrical systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and performance in critical infrastructure environments such as data centers and power grids.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing, inspection, certification, and commissioning of high voltage electrical equipment up to 345kV
- Ensure systems are installed, validated, and performing safely, reliably, and efficiently
- Partner with clients to understand their needs, develop plans, and execute procedures with precision
- Maintain rigorous safety and compliance standards during all testing and inspection activities
- Utilize technical expertise and certifications to support electrical testing and maintenance tasks
- Integrate AI tools to optimize workflows, improve quality, and increase efficiency
Requirements
- Experience in high voltage up to 345kV equipment construction, operation, and maintenance
- National Electrical Testing Association NETA II Neta III or National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies NICET electrical testing experience certifications
- Equipment field service engineering or representative experience
- Experience in a data center industry
- Instrumentation control, power system protection, power automation, etc. experience
- Trade Certification or state license as an electrician
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize redesign workflows and drive measurable impact such as efficiency gains and quality improvements
