Job Description
The job involves supervising electrical design projects for oil and gas facilities, overseeing junior engineers, and creating various electrical design documents. Candidates should have significant experience in electrical engineering within heavy industrial sectors and possess a relevant degree and licensure.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical design projects for oil and gas facilities
- Review and oversee electrical design by junior engineers and designers
- Create one-line diagrams, hazardous area classification drawings, panel schedules, cable schedules, and grounding design
- Develop power systems models including arc flash studies and load flow studies
- Complete tasks independently within given timeframes and budgets
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years proven electrical engineering design experience in Oil and Gas, Heavy industrial projects Oil and Gas, Mining, Power Generation, Water and Wastewater.
- A BSEE degree from an ABET accredited engineering program.
- PE License or ability to obtain one within 6 months.
- Working knowledge of design codes and standards, specifically NFPA, NEC, NESC, API, ISA and AGA.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects under budget and time constraints.
- Familiarity with electrical modeling software, specifically ETAP and SKM.

Compensation/salary range: 95,000 - 145,000 USD
