Job Description
The role involves leading and managing a team of engineers and project managers to oversee utility-scale power generation projects across solar, wind, BESS, transmission, and substation infrastructure, providing strategic technical leadership, client relationship management, and business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee Power Generation projects across Solar, BESS, Wind, Transmission, and Substation infrastructure.
- Provide strategic technical leadership and direction for engineering, design, and project execution.
- Manage and mentor a team of Associate Directors, Project Managers, and technical staff.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and support project delivery from development to execution.
- Collaborate with leadership to grow market presence and expand client base.
- Develop, retain, and recruit talent to support team growth and project needs.
- Drive annual business planning, including revenue forecasting, staffing, and market growth initiatives.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure successful outcomes.
- Support the evolution of internal processes, standards, and team structure for efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- PE license highly preferred
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in Power Energy, with strong experience supporting utility-scale or large-scale power generation and delivery projects
- Demonstrated experience supporting one or more of the following markets: Solar, BESS, Wind, Transmission, Substation, or broader power infrastructure
- Proven track record in client-facing leadership roles, with strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated experience leading, developing, and mentoring multidisciplinary teams
- Strong strategic planning and business leadership skills, including experience with annual planning, team development, and revenue growth initiatives
- Technical understanding of engineering and design workflows relevant to power generation and related infrastructure projects
- Ability to thrive in a remote work environment and travel as needed to support clients, projects, and internal team initiatives
