Job Description

The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing site civil engineering and land development projects, ensuring successful project execution from entitlements to construction, while demonstrating technical proficiency in engineering principles and fostering client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate technical excellence in engineering principles and practices.
  • Design potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, site grading, and roadway design.
  • Manage projects from entitlements through to construction.
  • Process multiple permitting entitlements across various governmental agencies.
  • Participate in company marketing efforts to enhance company profile and foster client relationships.
  • Deliver high-quality projects to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC ABET Accredited University
  • PE Licensure Required
  • Relevant work experience in Delaware preferred
  • Demonstrate technical excellence in engineering principles and practices
  • Possess expertise in designing potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, site grading, roadway design, and related land development projects
  • Take projects from entitlements through to construction, ensuring successful project execution
  • Manage and coordinate various aspects of project development
  • Efficiently process multiple permitting entitlements across various governmental agencies
  • Utilize local experience to streamline the permitting process
  • Implement complex permitting strategies to meet project schedules, ranging from large-scale developments to compact commercial infills
  • Actively participate in company marketing efforts to enhance the company’s profile and foster relationships with existing and future clients and governmental agencies
  • Contribute to the growth of the company by delivering high-quality projects and client satisfaction
