A Project Engineer responsible for managing on-site civil engineering and land development projects, including design, permitting, and client coordination, with a focus on commercial and residential developments.
Key Responsibilities
Work on site civil engineering and land development projects for commercial and residential clients
Design potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management, site grading, and roadway systems
Manage projects from entitlements through to construction, ensuring successful execution
Process permitting and entitlements across various governmental agencies
Participate in company marketing efforts and foster client and governmental relationships
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC ABET Accredited University
PE Licensure Required
6 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering or land development projects
Demonstrate technical excellence in engineering principles and practices
Possess expertise in designing potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, site grading, roadway design, and related land development projects
Manage projects from entitlements through to construction, ensuring successful project execution
Efficiently process multiple permitting entitlements across various governmental agencies and utilize local experience to streamline the permitting process
Implement complex permitting strategies to meet project schedules for large-scale developments and commercial infill projects
Actively participate in company marketing efforts to enhance the company's profile and foster relationships with clients and governmental agencies
Contribute to the growth of the company by delivering high-quality projects and ensuring client satisfaction
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD is preferred
