Job Description
An experienced Civil Engineer role focused on designing land development projects, managing project lifecycles, navigating permitting processes, and contributing to a collaborative and flexible work environment in the consulting, engineering, and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Design potable water and wastewater systems, surface water management systems, site grading, and roadway layouts for land development projects
- Manage projects throughout their lifecycle from entitlement to construction, coordinating teams, schedules, and resources
- Navigate and streamline permitting and entitlement processes across various agencies
- Build and maintain long-term internal and external relationships through effective communication and dependable delivery
- Support business development efforts to contribute to the firm's growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC ABET accredited university
- EIT certification is required
- PE licensure is preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD is preferred
- Ability to design potable water and wastewater systems, surface water management systems, site grading, roadway layouts, and other land development components with accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to take ownership of projects from entitlement through construction, including coordinating teams, schedules, and resources to keep projects progressing smoothly and predictably
- Experience navigating multiple permitting processes across various agencies with confidence
- Ability to build long-term relationships internally and externally through clear communication and dependable delivery
- Support business development efforts and contribute to the firm’s steady, sustainable growth
- Ability to deliver high-quality work that reflects expertise and strengthens the company’s reputation
