Job Description
The Civil Engineer EIT at Atwell, LLC will support project teams by leading design aspects and addressing engineering issues across various projects, while collaborating with project managers and clients. The role involves drafting project deliverables, conducting site visits, and utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D to ensure quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project teams on various assignments, providing technical training and guidance.
- Prepare project documents and proposals in collaboration with project teams and clients.
- Draft, review, and finalize project deliverables including site plans, engineering reports, cost estimates, project schedules, permit applications, and due diligence reports.
- Make edits and modifications to plans based on client and agency feedback.
- Research local state zoning requirements for properties and projects.
- Conduct site visits and field assignments.
- Analyze site survey data and consider development factors.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to complete assignments efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients, municipalities, and agencies under the direction of the Project Manager.
- Update Project Manager and Team Leader on workload status.
- Apply fundamental engineering concepts to practical situations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Two to four (2-4) years of experience in civil engineering, with experience leading design aspects of development projects preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Grading Design, Technical Writing, 3-D Modeling, MS Office, and Plan Interpretation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent workload management skills.
