Job Description
A Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, LLC, is responsible for working on land development, renewable energy, and construction projects by utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce drawings, analyze survey data, and support project workflows in a flexible and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support design staff by guiding drafting practices and procedures
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to produce project drawings
- Create various project-specific drawings such as ALTA surveys, final plats, maps of dedication, and construction layouts
- Review survey data to analyze existing site conditions and legal documents
- Edit and modify plans based on revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients
- Coordinate workflow and communicate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to ensure project progress
Requirements
- Previous AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience Preferred
- Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) Preferred
- High School Diploma Required
- Thorough understanding of ALTA Surveys, Topographical Surveys, Boundaries, and Construction Staking
