Job Description
The position involves leading a survey team focused on land development or renewable energy projects, managing business operations, fostering client relationships, overseeing team performance, and ensuring operational excellence within a dynamic consulting, engineering, and construction services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage business relationships with clients, land developers, contractors, and architects
- Manage team operations, including staffing, performance, and business planning
- Develop and implement business development strategies to expand client base and market presence
- Oversee financial performance, including team utilization, profitability, and invoicing
- Assist with project management tasks such as AR collections, change orders, and project profitability
- Conduct risk management activities including contract and proposal reviews
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote health and safety practices
- Lead and communicate effectively with team members and senior leadership
- Recruit, onboard, and develop staff to foster a culture of excellence
Requirements
- Survey-focused Bachelor's Degree
- Professional Survey License required or in process
- At least 5 years of experience leading survey teams focused on Land Development or Renewable Energy
