Job Description
The Tax Assistant at Arevon will support the tax department by managing correspondence with tax authorities, coordinating billing and payments, and assisting with internal processes and documentation in a fast-paced renewable energy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage correspondence from tax authorities
- Coordinate with AP, Accounting, and Treasury for accurate billing and timely payment of taxes
- Own invoicing, bill aging, and budget tracking within tax department
- Prepare purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Coordinate Engagement Letters with legal and consultants
- Prepare Form W-9s
- Assist with internal and external monthly updates
- Document internal processes controls
- Assist with document archiving and record keeping
- Manage team calendar and events
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher preferred, but relevant work experience will be strongly weighed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner, both verbal and written, with internal personnel and tax authorities.
- This position is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, and functions on a hybrid schedule with in-office days of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. A fully remote location will not be considered for this role.
