Job Description
The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) Analyst at Arevon will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and developing financial models to support strategic initiatives in the renewable energy sector, while collaborating with management to connect long-term strategic plans to operational realities.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect senior management's long-term strategic plan to reality through budgeting and forecasting.
- Develop operating and financial plans to achieve management's strategic goals.
- Advise management on performance improvement, risk minimization, and new opportunities.
- Develop and analyze financial models to support strategic initiatives.
- Maintain, review, and improve existing financial models.
- Assist in the preparation of project valuation models and investor reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for decision making.
- Audit and analyze financial models to support decision making.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in the Renewable Energy Industry, Utilities Sector, or Banking.
- 1-2 years of experience in project finance, preferably in the renewable energy space.
- Demonstrated financial acumen and experience developing and building complex financial models using Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to collaborate with other departments to acquire the needed information for decision making.
- Ability to audit, develop, and analyze financial models to support decision making.
- Ability to work autonomously with little supervision while continuously ensuring alignment of objectives.
- Minimum BS/BA in Accountancy or Finance.
