Job Description
The Manager Pre-Construction, Early Stage at Arevon will lead early-stage pre-construction activities for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects, focusing on permitting, constructability reviews, and collaboration with engineering teams. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to present to executives and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple concurrent pre-construction projects across various development phases.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure key permits are accounted for in project development.
- Provide Development Engineering guidance related to civil considerations of development projects.
- Review projects for constructability, including development assumptions and jurisdictional requirements.
- Acquire aerial mapping data to prepare digital project models for design and communication.
- Partner with Development Engineering team to automate analysis and design processes.
- Collaborate early with EPC partners to assess project risk and potentially engage in Design-Assist models.
- Present project materials to C-Suite executives and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience in renewable energy project development, engineering, and/or construction.
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license in civil, mechanical, or electrical.
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and associated applications including MS Project, Teams, and Power BI.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
