Job Description
The Community Relations Intern supports Arevon's community engagement efforts by assisting in storytelling, data visualization, and project standardization related to renewable energy projects, gaining hands-on experience in stakeholder communication and sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Community Relations team by creating content to enhance field operations.
- Audit and analyze data to visualize community impact and develop data-backed narratives.
- Build tools and templates to standardize storytelling and stakeholder engagement metrics.
- Develop presentations and reports to communicate community impact ROI to leadership.
- Revise and update community relations checklists and best practices for unsupported projects.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of tools and software, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to accurately input, and verify data, ensuring high-quality input for analysis
- Good Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with different teams to support operational goals
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain strong organizational skills
- Currently pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, business, political science, or related discipline
- Must be a senior or equivalent to graduate by end of summer 2026 or fall of 2026
- Ability to work onsite at Arevon’s headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ
- Ability to work up to 30 hours per week
- Demonstrated interest in people and communities, sustainability, and renewable energy
