Job Description

A Tax Manager role focused on providing strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients in the restaurant and franchise hospitality industry, within a dynamic and growth-oriented CPA and advisory firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help clients maximize tax opportunities through strategic planning
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce clients' tax liabilities
  • Provide tax consulting and compliance services for restaurant and franchise clients

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax within the restaurant, franchise, or hospitality industry.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the restaurant, franchise, or hospitality sectors.
  • Have experience developing and implementing tax strategies to reduce clients' tax liabilities.
  • Possess excellent client service skills with the ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Be able to work collaboratively within a team and with clients to deliver exceptional service.
  • Have the ability to analyze financial data and prepare detailed tax reports and documentation.
  • Be proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Possess or be eligible to obtain a CPA license or equivalent professional certification.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the capacity to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • Have a strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations applicable to the restaurant, franchise, or hospitality industry.
  • Be willing to participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with industry changes and tax law updates.
