Job Description
A Tax Manager role focused on providing strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients in the restaurant and franchise hospitality industry, within a dynamic and growth-oriented CPA and advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Help clients maximize tax opportunities through strategic planning
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce clients' tax liabilities
- Provide tax consulting and compliance services for restaurant and franchise clients
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax within the restaurant, franchise, or hospitality industry.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the restaurant, franchise, or hospitality sectors.
- Have experience developing and implementing tax strategies to reduce clients' tax liabilities.
- Possess excellent client service skills with the ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly and effectively.
- Be able to work collaboratively within a team and with clients to deliver exceptional service.
- Have the ability to analyze financial data and prepare detailed tax reports and documentation.
- Be proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Possess or be eligible to obtain a CPA license or equivalent professional certification.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the capacity to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Have a strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations applicable to the restaurant, franchise, or hospitality industry.
- Be willing to participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with industry changes and tax law updates.
