Job Description
A Tax Manager in the manufacturing and technology sectors responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize clients' tax positions, while providing exceptional client service and contributing to the growth of a dynamic, fast-growing CPA and advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee tax planning and compliance for clients in the technology industry
- Develop and implement tax strategies to reduce clients' tax liabilities
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax returns and related documentation
- Advise clients on international tax issues and compliance requirements
- Coordinate with audit and consulting teams to support client needs
- Stay current on tax laws and regulations affecting the manufacturing and technology sectors
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax within the manufacturing or technology industry.
- Have a CPA license or equivalent professional certification.
- Demonstrate experience in developing and implementing tax strategies that can reduce clients' tax bills.
- Show proficiency in working with a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm environment.
- Have the ability to work in a fast-growing, dynamic team environment with high energy and ambition.
- Possess strong client service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Be capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team to manage multiple client engagements.
- Have experience with tax compliance, planning, and consulting for manufacturing and technology clients.
- Be familiar with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations relevant to manufacturing and technology industries.
- Possess excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex tax concepts to clients and team members.
- Be willing to work in a flexible working environment, including remote and hybrid options.
- Be committed to continuous professional growth and learning in the tax field.
- Have the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
