Job Description
The Tax Manager will join a dynamic team at Aprio, a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm, to help clients maximize their opportunities in government contracting. This role involves providing tax expertise and strategic foresight to support fast-growing industries.
Responsibilities
- •Manage tax compliance and consulting for government contracting clients
- •Develop and implement tax strategies to maximize client opportunities
- •Lead and mentor junior staff in tax-related projects
- •Ensure adherence to tax regulations and reporting requirements
- •Build and maintain client relationships to foster business growth
Requirements
- •Experience in tax management, specifically in government contracting.
- •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- •Active CPA license.
- •Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting.
- •Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- •Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- •Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- •Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
