Job Description
A Senior Tax Associate in Mergers and Acquisitions at Aprio provides specialized tax services to clients, helping them maximize opportunities through strategic tax planning and consulting within a dynamic, growth-oriented CPA and advisory firm.
Responsibilities
- •Assist clients with mergers and acquisitions tax strategies and planning
- •Prepare and review tax returns related to mergers and acquisitions
- •Provide tax consulting and advisory services for fast-growing industries
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- •Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax, specifically in mergers and acquisitions.
- •Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns related to mergers and acquisitions.
- •Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws applicable to mergers and acquisitions.
- •Experience working with clients on tax planning and strategy for mergers and acquisitions.
- •Ability to analyze and interpret financial data related to mergers and acquisitions for tax purposes.
- •Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- •Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- •Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in tax filings and documentation.
- •Knowledge of tax software and tools used in mergers and acquisitions tax work.
