Job Description
A Senior Audit Manager in the manufacturing sector at a leading CPA and advisory firm, responsible for overseeing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with professional standards, and providing trusted financial insights to private and closely held companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee audit engagements for private and closely held companies.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements in compliance with professional standards.
- Provide insights and clarity through audit procedures to support client decision-making.
- Manage and lead audit teams to deliver efficient and thoughtful audits.
- Maintain compliance with PCAOB standards and professional regulations.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or auditing, with at least 2 years in a managerial or senior management role overseeing audit engagements.
- Have a CPA license or equivalent professional certification recognized in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Demonstrate experience in leading and managing audit teams to deliver high-quality audits for private and closely held companies.
- Possess a thorough understanding of PCAOB standards and requirements for audits.
- Have experience in planning, executing, and completing audits in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Exhibit strong communication skills to clearly convey audit findings and insights to clients and team members.
- Be able to build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple audit engagements simultaneously.
- Possess knowledge of financial statement preparation and review, including understanding of relevant accounting standards.
- Be willing to work in a flexible working environment, including remote and hybrid options, as required by the firm.
