Job Description

The Senior Audit Manager at Aprio leads and manages audit engagements for private and closely-held companies, providing trusted financial insights, ensuring compliance, and helping clients maximize opportunities through strategic communication and risk minimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with maximizing opportunities and making confident business decisions.
  • Provide trusted financial insights to private and closely-held companies.
  • Help minimize client risk through assurance and audit processes.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure a seamless and impactful audit experience.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with lenders and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of several years of experience in audit or assurance services, with a focus on working with private and closely-held companies.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the audit process and assurance services beyond compliance, including providing trusted financial insights that minimize risk.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and build trusted partnerships with clients, lenders, and stakeholders.
  • Possess the skills necessary to help clients maximize opportunities and make confident business decisions through financial insights.
  • Be capable of playing a vital role in helping clients maximize opportunities and make confident business decisions as part of the assurance practice.
  • Have a strong commitment to professional growth and continuous learning within the assurance and CPA services field.
  • Be eligible and prepared to support CPA-related programs, including CPA support programs with cash incentives upon completion.
  • Possess the ability to work in a flexible working environment, including remote and hybrid options, and adapt to a collaborative team culture.
  • Meet any applicable licensing or certification requirements for senior audit or assurance roles, including CPA licensure if required by the firm or position.
