A Senior Audit Associate at Aprio will perform personalized audit and assurance services for private and closely-held companies, helping clients ensure accurate financial statements, manage risks, and make informed business decisions within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and oversee financial statement audits for private and closely-held companies.
Ensure compliance with PCAOB standards and professional regulations during audits.
Build and maintain trusted client relationships through clear communication and personalized assurance services.
Identify and assess risks in financial statements and audit processes.
Coordinate and lead audit fieldwork, including planning, testing, and review procedures.
Prepare and review audit documentation and financial reports.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to clients based on audit findings.
Requirements
Possess a CPA license or equivalent professional certification (implied by the requirement to support CPA completion and the firm's high professional standards).
Have experience working in an audit or assurance environment, with a focus on providing assurance services to private and closely-held companies.
Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to PCAOB standards, as the firm is a registered member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).
