Job Description
The Senior Accounting Manager oversees monthly accounting and financial reporting for nonprofit clients, providing strategic guidance, ensuring compliance, and leading a team of accounting professionals within a dynamic, growth-oriented CPA and advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly accounting and financial reporting for nonprofit clients
- Provide proactive, strategic guidance to ensure financial compliance and operational effectiveness
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
Requirements
- Oversee monthly accounting and financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of nonprofit clients, including charitable organizations, religious entities, and membership organizations.
- Deliver proactive, strategic guidance that supports financial compliance, operational effectiveness, and regulatory requirements unique to the nonprofit industry.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a high performing team of accounting professionals, fostering technical excellence, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
- Possess a strong foundation in accounting or finance, demonstrated leadership capability, and a proven ability to deliver strategic advisory services.
- Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Work in a fast-growing firm with a focus on client service and strategic guidance for nonprofit clients.
