• Interest in a client‑facing, consultative role, including interaction with C‑Suite executives
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
• Experience developing provisional billing rates and indirect rates
• Experience supporting or responding to federal audits
• Strong understanding of indirect rates, budgeting, and forecasting
• Hands‑on experience preparing and reviewing Incurred Cost Submissions (ICS)
• Experience working with contractor business systems (Accounting, Contractor Purchasing, Estimating, Property Management, EVMS, MMAS)
• Working knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), including agency supplements, with emphasis on: FAR Part 12 – Commercial Contracting, FAR Part 15 – Contracting by Negotiation, FAR Part 30- Cost Accounting Standards Administration, and FAR Part 31 – Contract Cost Principles & Procedures
• Experience with government contractor proposals, including RFP briefs, cost proposal volume management, and pricing
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Minimum of 5 years of experience at a government contractor, former auditor at the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), or public accounting/consulting firm.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Software.
• Availability to work in the office two days per week is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, related field or applicable work experience
