Job Description
A Business Valuation Associate at Aprio will analyze and assess the financial and operational factors impacting valuation decisions for various assets and securities, working with top-tier clients across multiple industries to deliver complex valuation solutions and gain broad professional experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess financial and operational factors impacting valuation decisions
- Perform complex valuations of assets such as loans, preferred equity, and common equity
- Evaluate value at both enterprise and individual security levels
- Work with clients including private equity firms, corporate clients, and financial institutions
- Apply industry knowledge and advanced technology to deliver valuation solutions
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
- Have experience or demonstrated ability to perform complex financial valuations, including working with assets such as performing and non-performing loans, preferred equity, and common equity.
- Ability to assess financial and operational factors that impact valuation decisions from investment, regulatory, and strategic perspectives.
- Experience in evaluating value at both enterprise and individual security levels.
- Strong research and critical thinking skills to analyze complex valuation challenges.
- Ability to work with top-tier clients, including private equity firms, corporate clients, and financial institutions, across various industries.
- Full-time availability to work in a professional environment with the capacity to handle sophisticated valuation tasks.
- Willingness to work as part of a team supported by experienced professionals, with openness to feedback and growth opportunities.
