Job Description
The Business Valuation Associate will work with a dynamic team at Aprio, a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm, to tackle complex valuation challenges across various industries, providing comprehensive solutions in financial reporting, tax compliance, and mergers and acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess financial and operational factors impacting valuation decisions
- Evaluate value at both enterprise and individual security levels
- Conduct sophisticated valuations of various asset types
- Collaborate with top-tier clients including private equity firms and financial institutions
- Apply critical thinking and research skills to solve complex valuation challenges
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in business valuation, financial analysis, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work with complex financial instruments, illiquid securities, structured finance, and private equity.
- Proficiency in using advanced technology for valuation purposes.
- Hands-on experience with performing and non-performing loans, preferred equity, and common equity.
- Ability to assess financial and operational factors that impact valuation decisions.
- Experience working with top-tier clients, including private equity firms, corporate clients, and financial institutions.
