Job Description

The Business Valuation Associate will work with a dynamic team at Aprio, a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm, to tackle complex valuation challenges across various industries, providing comprehensive solutions in financial reporting, tax compliance, and mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

  • •Assess financial and operational factors impacting valuation decisions
  • •Evaluate value at both enterprise and individual security levels
  • •Conduct sophisticated valuations of various asset types
  • •Collaborate with top-tier clients including private equity firms and financial institutions
  • •Apply critical thinking and research skills to solve complex valuation challenges

Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • •Experience in business valuation, financial analysis, or a related field.
  • •Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • •Ability to work with complex financial instruments, illiquid securities, structured finance, and private equity.
  • •Proficiency in using advanced technology for valuation purposes.
  • •Hands-on experience with performing and non-performing loans, preferred equity, and common equity.
  • •Ability to assess financial and operational factors that impact valuation decisions.
  • •Experience working with top-tier clients, including private equity firms, corporate clients, and financial institutions.
