Job Description

An Audit Associate at Aprio works with a team of experts to help clients improve financial reporting, internal controls, and evaluate accounting issues, while staying compliant with regulations and identifying operational efficiencies to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in improving financial reporting capabilities and internal controls
  • Evaluate accounting issues and stay updated on new accounting regulations
  • Assess the quality of financial information used for strategic decision-making
  • Identify areas for operational efficiency improvements
  • Work with a team of audit professionals to mitigate financial and business risks

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience working in an audit or assurance environment, demonstrating familiarity with financial reporting and internal controls.
  • Have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of accounting issues, financial reporting capabilities, and internal controls relevant to business operations.
  • Stay current with new accounting regulations and standards that could impact long-term business growth.
  • Ability to evaluate the quality of financial information used for strategic business decisions and identify areas for operational improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients and team members across diverse industries.
  • Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment and contribute to a high-energy, ambitious culture.
  • Availability to work full-time in a role that may include remote or hybrid work arrangements.
