Key Responsibilities
Prepare and file business personal property tax returns with guidance from senior staff; compile and organize supporting documentation.
Review fixed-asset listings/schedules to identify taxable property; track additions, disposals, and transfers; reconcile asset data.
Log, track, and review property tax bills and assessment notices; follow up on missing notices; validate assessed values, exemptions, and rates.
Maintain due date/compliance calendar; flag upcoming deadlines; track filings and payments to help avoid penalties and interest.
Support correspondence with taxing authorities; maintain organized electronic files; assist with ad hoc research and special projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred.
2 years in property tax, accounting, or a related role.
Detail-oriented with strong data accuracy.
Highly organized; able to manage multiple deadlines.
Microsoft Office proficiency (intermediate Excel).
Fixed-asset software and/or tax management system exposure a plus.
Clear written and verbal communication.
Works well independently and with a team; proactive learner.
Amenable to work night shift starting from 8:00 PM-5:00 AM PHT
Shifting Schedule (depending on business/client needs)
Work Setup: Hybrid – Initial 2 months onsite, followed by a hybrid schedule of 2 days onsite and 3 days work-from-home per week. Work location is either at our Clark or Makati site.
