Job Description
The Accounting Manager will lead a team to provide accurate financial reporting and accounting services for clients, overseeing client engagements and ensuring accounting accuracy while balancing team leadership and process improvements within a fast-growing, tech-forward CPA firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting for clients
- Lead and oversee a team of at least four accounting professionals
- Manage client engagements to ensure accounting accuracy
- Serve as a technical and operational leader within the team
- Balance client service with team leadership and process improvement
Requirements
- Possess CPA Certification or be willing to obtain CPA Certification with assistance from the employer
- Have audit experience, with a focus on accounting and financial reporting
- Have experience leading or supervising a team of at least four members
- Serve as both a technical and operational leader by overseeing client engagements and ensuring accounting accuracy
- Demonstrate the ability to provide accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting to clients
- Be proactive and highly skilled in accounting practices and team leadership
- Possess strong client service skills and the ability to balance client needs with team management
- Have the ability to oversee and improve accounting processes and operations
- Be able to work in a hybrid setup if assigned to a role that requires it, subject to location, terms, and conditions
- Be willing to work full-time in the role
