Job Description
The internship offers accounting students hands-on experience supporting client accounting teams, developing practical skills, and gaining insight into daily accounting operations within a collaborative, in-person environment at a top CPA and advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Support client accounting teams with core accounting processes
- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks and projects
- Develop practical accounting skills through increasing responsibility
- Participate in group projects involving volunteering and social impact
- Engage in networking and professional development activities
Requirements
- Candidates must be high-potential accounting students interested in Client Accounting Services.
- Candidates must want to continue Aprio's standard of excellence and be willing to dive straight into hands-on accounting projects.
- Candidates must be available to participate in the Summer 2026 Internship Program from June to August.
- Candidates must be able to work in an in-person, collaborative environment at the Topeka, Kansas office.
- Candidates must support CAS teams with core accounting processes.
- Candidates must develop practical skills through progressive responsibility during the internship.
- Candidates must gain insight into the day-to-day work of an associate in client accounting.
- Candidates must be pursuing a degree in accounting or a related field (implied by being accounting students).
