Work with a Top 20 CPA and advisory firm that Accounts for Anything.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Modeling & FP&A: Builds budgets, forecasts, 13-week cash flow models, scenario analyses, and KPI dashboards that support strategic decision-making for growth-stage clients.
Board-Ready Reporting: Translates financial results into clear narratives - highlighting cash flow, runway, unit economics, and working capital - for founders, leadership teams, and boards.
CFO Advisory Support: Partners with US client leads on core and add-on advisory engagements (e.g., headcount planning, scenario modeling, SKU profitability), owning the analyst-level build and preparing client-facing outputs.
Project Execution: Supports the Senior Manager, Technology CAAS on one-time and complex client projects - cash-to-accrual conversions, GAAP clean-up, M&A / QoE readiness, and process build-outs.
Quarterbacking: Coordinates across US client leads, offshore accounting teams, and external advisors (tax, legal, transaction) to keep deliverables on track and accountable.
Capacity as a Builder: Uses available capacity to create reusable templates, models, SOPs, and dashboards that the broader Technology CAAS group can leverage across clients.
Reusable Asset Development: Creates and maintains financial models, cash flow tools, board reporting packages, dashboards, templates, SOPs, and client-facing deliverables that improve consistency and scalability across Technology CAAS engagements.
Process & Delivery Innovation: Develops and refines workflows, playbooks, and AI-enabled delivery methodologies that improve efficiency, quality, and consistency across recurring and project-based services.
Solution Development & Enablement: Partners with Technology CAAS leadership to identify opportunities for new advisory offerings, delivery enhancements, start-up focused solutions, and scalable service solutions that strengthen the practice and enhance client outcomes.
While this role is primarily focused on delivery and advisory, we expect the Manager to gradually build a market presence and contribute to growth as the position matures - this is a developing, not quota-carrying, expectation.
Client Expansion: Identifies opportunities to deepen existing relationships - surfacing advisory add-ons and expansion work that arise naturally from delivery, and partnering with client leads to pursue them.
Networking & Visibility: Builds a professional network over time and represents Aprio thoughtfully in the market, participating in relevant industry or community events and contributing to the firm’s reputation in the technology and startup finance space.
Origination Support: Contributes to proposals, scoping, and pursuits by preparing models and materials, with a growing role in originating and expanding work as experience and relationships develop.
