Job Description
A senior mechanical engineer responsible for leading the design and development of advanced robotic systems, focusing on mechatronic subsystems, and acting as a technical leader to improve the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of industrial mobile robots.
Responsibilities
- •Lead the design, development, and evolution of robotic systems and mechatronic subsystems
- •Drive product decisions in collaboration with R&D and operations
- •Shape the mechanical architecture of robots to improve performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- •Act as a technical leader within cross-functional teams from concept to production and lifecycle support
- •Develop and design robotic hardware components, including actuators, sensors, and inspection payloads
- •Innovate and bring new ideas to the development of robotic systems
Requirements
- •Proven professional experience with mechatronic systems, including the design, development, and upgrading of robotic functions.
- •Experience in leading the design, development, and evolution of robotic systems, including owning the development of highly integrated mechatronic subsystems.
- •Ability to drive product decisions in collaboration with R D and operations teams.
- •Experience acting as a technical leader within cross-functional teams from early concept through production and lifecycle support.
- •Strong understanding of mechanical architecture design for robotic systems.
- •Industrial experience and a systems mindset applied to improve performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of robotics platforms.
