Job Description

This role involves providing administrative and technical support to the Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) team, including data collection, modeling, compliance management, and client coordination, with opportunities for professional growth in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the RNG-Technical Services team
  • Participate in compliance programs for EPA's RFS and California's LCFS
  • Collect and manage data from RNG facility clients
  • Populate and maintain greenhouse gas emission models and trackers
  • Update internal databases with regulatory changes
  • Support client onboarding and ongoing compliance activities
  • Perform quality assurance on data collection and inputs
  • Complete monthly transactional templates with facility-specific data
  • Communicate with clients for data collection and clarification
  • Facilitate data requests for third-party auditors
  • Assist with quality assurance protocols
  • Process and validate large datasets in Excel
  • Coordinate with operations, account managers, and supervisors
  • Develop and improve systems and procedures for efficiency

Requirements

  • Fluent English spoken, read and written, with proficiency in technical business communication.
  • Must be eligible to work in Hungary.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, including the ability to draft professional formatted templates.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, with the ability to process large amounts of data and utilize advanced functions and formulas.
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.
  • University Degree or relevant working experience.
  • Prior experience in renewable energy, preferably in natural gas and electricity.
  • Knowledgeable in North American carbon reduction policy or program.
  • Background in greenhouse gas emissions, carbon intensity, environmental commodities, or life cycle emissions.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements and auditing.
  • Ability to perform general administrative support tasks such as collecting data, maintaining recordkeeping trackers, updating databases, archiving documents, and supporting client onboarding and compliance.
  • Ability to collect recurring monthly documents and data from clients operating RNG facilities.
  • Ability to populate recurring monthly greenhouse gas emission models.
  • Ability to perform QAQC on data collection and inputs on the tracker of renewable fuel inventory.
  • Ability to fill out monthly transactional statement templates with facility-specific inputs.
  • Ability to facilitate facility-specific data requests for third-party auditors.
  • Routine check-ins and reporting with Operations, Account Managers, and Supervisors.
  • Processing and validating large amounts of Excel data.
  • Supporting team leads during client onboarding and ongoing compliance requirements.
  • Assisting with quality assurance protocol (QAP) functions.
  • Participating in company objectives within EPA’s Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) and California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) compliance programs.
  • Supporting the development of systems and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid remote home office environment with travel to Budapest Office possibly twice a week, with travel expenses reimbursed.
  • Flexible working schedule with weekly shift changes (morning, afternoon, evening).
