Job Description

The Solutions Delivery Manager at Amperity is responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and deployment of customer solutions, managing project scope, timelines, and resources, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and technical understanding in a SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the customer journey from sales closure to platform use case launch, ensuring successful implementation.
  • Manage multiple complex SaaS implementations on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate resources across internal teams and external partners to meet project goals.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery.
  • Engage with clients to understand their requirements, systems, and pain points.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with client needs and strategic goals.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate effective communication among all parties.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in professional services, technical project management, or similar roles.
  • Experience managing complex technical implementations from end-to-end.
  • Experience managing stakeholders across various levels and functions.
  • Ability to grasp and contribute to technical discussions from a conceptual standpoint.
  • Understanding and exposure to SQL.
  • Understanding of data analysis skills and the ability to direct efforts to dig into customer data and extract insights for stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate openly and effectively with audiences of all seniority levels.
  • Demonstrated experience project managing large-scale and complex SaaS implementations at Fortune 500 companies with appropriate rigor.
  • Ability to evaluate risk, promote benefit, manage expectations, and control implementation scope.
  • Experience supporting scoping discovery sessions with clients to understand requirements and document accordingly in a statement of work.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize project tasks, manage timelines, maintain project plans, and communicate status to clients, project sponsors, and senior management.
  • Experience managing resources across local and global teams, including working with local System Integrators and partners.
  • Ability to drive customer and internal teams to timely and on-budget completion with appropriately managed project scope.
  • Ability to connect the right resources (executive, technical) to the right problems and ensure teams are empowered to deliver outcomes.
  • Understanding of client systems, technologies, pain points, and how Amperity’s solutions can drive meaningful results.
  • Ability to develop an understanding of the client’s business, industry, and Amperity’s value proposition within this context.
  • Comfortable leading in an ambiguous environment, collaborating on design, architecture, and strategy, and engaging in technical details when needed.
  • Location in Melbourne, Australia, with the ability to work in a hybrid model (three days in the office each week).
