Job Description
The Senior Pre-Sales Technical Engagement Manager at Amperity is responsible for delivering proof of capability projects to demonstrate the platform's value to clients, managing all phases from requirements gathering to solution configuration, and acting as a trusted advisor to translate business goals into impactful AI-driven pilot solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of Proof of Capability projects and pilots to demonstrate platform value to clients
- Gather requirements, design solutions, configure the platform, and enable end-users during pilots
- Translate client business goals into impactful pilot designs and configure solutions accordingly
- Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to drive successful pilot outcomes
- Interpret client data, explore insights using SQL, and configure solutions to meet business needs
- Act as a trusted advisor, articulating complex topics to both technical and business audiences
Requirements
- 8 years experience in technical consulting, solution delivery, technical program management, or similar roles
- Experience running complex technical implementations end-to-end
- Experience managing partners across departments and levels, from practitioners to executives
- Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to bring structure where none exists
- Strong data fluency able to explore and interpret customer data, extract insights using SQL, and configure solutions
- Experience in a technical pre-sales role (preferred but not mandatory)
- Ability to translate client business goals into pilot designs that showcase the most relevant and impactful use cases
- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent pilots, each with different timelines, complexities, and requirements
- Ability to quickly build a strong understanding of client data to configure it effectively in the platform and align with business priorities
- Ability to articulate complex topics to both business and technical audiences, providing best practices and recommendations
- Experience collaborating across multiple teams including Sales, Solutions Consulting, Client Services, Product, Engineering, and customer stakeholders
- Experience exploring and interpreting customer data, including using SQL
- Experience managing partners across departments and levels, from practitioners to executives
- Knowledge of marketing technology stack (preferred but not mandatory)
- Gritty attitude with the ability to keep driving toward outcomes even when challenges arise
- Innovative problem-solving skills, combining analytical thinking with creativity
- Adaptability to move between high-level design and technical detail, collaborating on strategy while diving deep when needed
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with three days in-office per week in Seattle, WA, or New York, NY, or fully remote in specified states
- Willingness to participate in a role that involves solution design, platform configuration, requirements gathering, and end-user enablement
