Job Description
The role involves developing and maintaining scalable data systems, working with large-scale structured data, building machine learning models, and creating tools to visualize and analyze customer data, all within a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on AI-powered customer experience solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ingest and understand large amounts of structured customer, product, and event data
- Create probabilistic knowledge graphs by training ML models to unify data across systems
- Implement research algorithms in production for high-scale usage
- Build visual experiences and tools to help users analyze data and surface insights
- Integrate the system into the core operations of client businesses
- Automate the management of data processing infrastructure and workflows
Requirements
- 12 years industry experience working in SaaS and distributed systems environments
- Experience working with large-scale data-oriented systems on a major cloud provider
- Deep technical judgment, expanding to the depths of your team’s technology ownership, and the ability to guide architectural decisions on your team and across teams with an eye to high-level tradeoffs

- Experience being a backstop for oncall issues on your team
- Passionate about building scalable infrastructure systems for both internal and external customers
- Experience with functional languages like Clojure in a production environment (experience with Clojure or functional languages is preferred but not required)
- Ability to educate those outside your team on your team’s technology and products
- Ability to mentor team members and contribute to their growth
- Willingness to share your talents and interests across the engineering team through tools, education, or leadership in special interest groups
- This role is remote in Argentina, with a requirement to participate in a small number of in-person gatherings designed to support alignment and collaboration
